Clients are advised to keep in mind that the materials used for each piece may slightly vary aesthetically but will remain within a range of acceptance carefully considered by Enrico Bartolini/E.B. Classics Inc..

The quality of all materials and fabrics used in building each custom piece are of the highest standards. While using solid woods, our customer should understand that “Wood Never Sleeps.” Keeping this in mind, slight warping, seasonal checkmarks or other minor variations might occur as this custom piece continues to settle. However, this does not constitute a defect.

Since no two trees grow alike, the color and grain variations may differ, adding to the individual beauty of each piece. If there is a concern with the quality of the piece, please feel free to contact us at info@enricobartolini.com to resolve the issue.
 


PRICING
All prices shown are retail. Retail prices are subject to change without notice. Retail prices shall be those in effect on the date that E.B. Classics Inc. receives the order. All sales and other taxes applicable to the sale of the Products shall be paid by the Client. If a Client claims an exemption from any tax, the Client shall submit to Enrico Bartolini/E.B. Classics Inc. the appropriate exemption certificates.


 

RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

DAMAGED IN TRANSIT: If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, we will work with you to make things right. Upon arrival, be sure to inspect your package and document the damages on the Bill of Lading before signing for the item. This will ensure we have the correct information to file a claim with the shipper. You must also take pictures of the damage of the item as well as damage to the original packaging. Please send all pictures via email to info@enricobartolini.com. Please notify us of any damages or defects within 72 hours of receipt of item for a refund of paid merchandise value or to exchange for a new item. Standard Shipping charges are not refundable. All shipments must be accepted even if there is noticeable damage to the box or packaging. Failure of the client to make a claim against the carrier AND notify Enrico Bartolini/E.B. Classics Inc. during the 72-hour working period shall constitute acceptance of the Products and waive any claim of apparent defects, damages, errors or shortages.
 

 

CLAIMS PROCESS
To initiate a claim, please email us immediately  at info@enricobartolini.com) and share the following information:

1. Digital snapshots of the damaged product as well as the packaging and box. Pictures must clearly show any claimed damage to ensure we can properly investigate the issue. Images are mandatory for processing a damage claim.

2. Share with us the reason for return as it relates to shipping damages or manufacturing defect. Any additional details that may help us understand the problem would also be helpful. Once E.B. Classics has agreed to replace a damaged item, please allow up to 2 weeks for the replacement of in-stock items. Replacement time for out-of-stock items will be quoted after receipt and inspection of returned merchandise.

Please be aware that furniture is susceptible to damage during transit and we take great care in packing shipments to ensure they will arrive safely. Be sure to retain the original packing materials, original receipt and all merchandise tags for any item that you wish to return to us. You may have to provide supplementary packing materials if the outer carton has been worn during the original shipment to you.

All returned items must be insured with the shipper for the original purchase price of the merchandise.

CUSTOM COMMISSIONS

Enrico is pleased to accept custom commissions from clients who admire the design and quality of Enrico’s work but do not see a piece that suits their particular needs.   Custom commissions are available in a variety of upholsteries, woods and sizes, which enables Enrico to create a custom piece that suits the customer’s personal form and function. 

 

During the creation of the custom piece, Enrico will work directly with the customer to define the requirements of the piece, understand where it will be situated within the room and its use, as well as determine aesthetics, size and price point.  Several designs will be created for the customer to choose from, allowing the piece to evolve throughout this process.  We encourage unique and creative commissions!

All custom commissions are made to client-approved specifications. Custom pieces are non-refundable and non-returnable.

TERMS:  We will provide a written estimate for the custom furniture, along with current estimated lead times and shipping or delivery details.  Once the estimate is agreed upon, a 50% deposit is required within 3 business days from agreed estimate date to place an order. The remaining balance is due 3 business days prior to shipping the product.  Pictures of the finished product, along with the final invoice, will be sent to the client upon completion of the custom piece.

 

SAMPLES:  Once a deposit is received, finished wood samples are shipped to the client for review and approval.  If the piece is to be upholstered, fabric and leather samples will also be shipped for review and approval.  Lead times are heavily dependent on the client’s prompt responses regarding all approvals.

LEAD TIMES: Our furniture is functional as well as artistic, therefore lead times are estimates only. We do not guarantee lead times or delivery dates for our furniture. Deposits and/or refunds will not be issued based on extended lead times.

Although we estimate a completion time of 8-12 weeks from when the order is placed, this time will vary based of the specific piece and availability of materials. E.B. Classics will notify the Client of any changes in lead time.

 

NON-DAMAGED/DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE
Returns on non-damaged/non-defective merchandise - excluding custom commissions - are accepted within 10 days of receipt of merchandise. Refunds will be issued minus a 25% restocking fee. Credit card orders will receive refunds in the form of a credit back to the original account. Item must be packaged and received into our warehouse in exact original salable condition to receive credit. Customer must incur original outbound shipping costs and own inbound shipping costs back to EB Classics Inc. Please contact us at info@enricobartolini.com to obtain an RMA number and address for return.

 

EB Classics Inc. reserves the right to reject a return should a return inspection reveal damage to the merchandise that was not previously disclosed via the claims process as described above. EB Classics Inc. strongly suggests that the client ensures all return shipments equal to the amount of the merchandise's original purchase price. EB Classics is not responsible for any damage that is incurred during the return shipment process.

DELAYED DELIVERY SERVICE
If there is a specific time period when you may not be able to accept delivery, please discuss the possibility of delayed delivery with us before placing your order. If you learn of a delivery conflict after placing your order, EB Classics Inc. may be able to store items for a brief period of time. SHIPPING POLICY

Domestic Shipping
All of our furniture pieces are custom made and hand crafted and may take approximately eight to twelve weeks to complete.

Complimentary White Glove Service is available in many areas throughout the 48 contiguous United States.

International Shipping
All of our furniture pieces are handcrafted and may take approximately eight to twelve weeks to complete. International shipping costs will vary based on location and size of shipment. We can project estimated shipping costs at the time of purchase and finalize shipping costs when the product is ready to ship.

By air:
Approximate travel time by Air: 7 days

By sea:
Approximate travel time by Sea: 30 days

*Please Note: Taxes, Duties, and Government Surcharges, etc. in the country where the piece is being delivered are the sole responsibility of the Client.

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY SERVICE
Complimentary White Glove Service is available in many areas throughout the 48 contiguous United States. White glove delivery service includes a delivery appointment, indoor delivery and setup, and removal of all packing materials.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY
In-stock items normally ship within 24–48 hours after an order has been placed. If you order by credit card, your card will be charged as each item is shipped. We will accept cancellation of your order for items that have not shipped or that are on backorder. Once an item has shipped, cancellation is not possible.

 

Custom commissions and special-order items cannot be cancelled.



DELAY/FORCE MAJEURE
E.B. Classics Inc. shall not be liable for failure to perform or for delay of performance due to fire, flood, strike or other labor difficulty, act of God, act of any government authority or of the Client, riot, embargo, fuel or energy shortage, wrecks or delay in transportation, inability to obtain necessary labor, materials or manufacturing facilities from usual sources or failure of suppliers to meet their contractual obligations, or due to any cause beyond its reasonable control. If any such event occurs, E.B. Classics Inc. may extend delivery dates by a period of time necessary to overcome the effect of such delay, allocate available Product or cancel any order.

 

 

PROPER CARE AND PROTECTION

When positioning your hand-crafted wood furniture item, be sure to protect it from direct sunlight. The UV rays of the sun are very strong and can darken the original stain/color of the wood and also fade the fabric or darken the leather upholstery. Leather furniture is very sensitive to heat and sun damage. Position it away from windows, and from heat sources such as fireplaces, radiators and central heating vents. Be sure to dust first, and then protect your wood pieces by using a soft cotton cloth and lemon oil polish. Apply the lemon oil polish to the cloth, not directly onto the wood. Polish in the same direction as the wood grain, not across or in circles, and do not leave any heavy oil residue on the wood piece when finished. Do not over polish.

 

Rubber, cork, vinyl or plastic products can damage some finishes. Use caution when placing telephones, cell phones, clocks and electronics on a finished surface, as most have rubber or plastic cases or footpads which can react with a lacquer finish. Avoid placing vinyl or cork placemats, coasters or tablecloths directly on a wood surface. To prevent damage, use a protective layer (cotton, linen or felt cloth) between the object and the finish. Use protective padding under these items to avoid damaging the finish. Use caution when placing items that radiate continuous heat on fine wood furniture. For example, some computers or stereos can raise the surface temperature by up to 20 degrees. Prolonged use without protecting the finish may damage your furniture.

 

Avoid heat and light. In a natural state, wood contains a surprising amount of moisture. Preserving appropriate moisture levels is key to the preservation of fine furniture. Accordingly, position fine wood furniture away from heating vents, fireplaces or radiators. Don't store fine furniture in attics, where temperature and humidity levels vary widely from summer to winter, day and night. Avoid placing furniture in areas where it will sit in direct sunlight, which can fade fine furniture; use drapes, sheers or protective window films to guard against the sun's rays. Exposure to moisture, dry air (keep away from the direct air flow of heat vents) direct sunlight, extreme heat or cold should always be avoided. For any spills on a wood surface, immediately wipe the surface with a clean, dry cotton cloth and reapply a coat of lemon oil polish.

 

WARNING:  Liquids containing alcohol and solvents will damage the finish; Especially finger nail polish remover, hairspray, and perfume. If a spill occurs onto the fabric or leather upholstery, quickly soak up the area with a soft cotton cloth and then have it professionally cleaned. Do not use household cleaners. All metal pieces should be cleaned with a soft Micro Fiber Cloth.
